Did you run into South Korean singer Sandara Park over the weekend? Park, who is known for being a member of K-pop girl group 2NE1, is currently in Singapore as a guest for the press conference of Waterbomb Singapore festival.

The press conference is set to begin at 1pm on Monday (May 6) at Suntec North Atrium. Details about the inaugural Waterbomb event are expected to be revealed at the press conference, including the first wave of artistes set to perform.

Originating in South Korea, the Waterbomb festival is typically held in the summer with music performances amidst water canons showering performers and the crowd.

Ahead of the press conference, Sandara Park was seen at multiple locations throughout Singapore. She attended a launch party held by Evergreen Group Holdings CEO David Yong to commemorate the release of the Netflix reality series Super Rich In Korea, in which he is one of the main cast members.

According to attendees, Park and Yong even performed a duet in Mandarin at the party.

Park was also seen at Universal Studios Singapore where she danced to the song Don't Leave by former YG labelmates G-Dragon and TOP.

Born in 1984, Sandara Park has enjoyed an illustrious career in both South Korea and the Philippines. She first rose to fame as the runner-up for the first season of Star Circle Quest, a talent show in the Philippines. Following a successful acting and singing career there, she moved to South Korea in 2007 where she signed a contract with YG Entertainment and eventually became a member of the girl group 2NE1.

2NE1 went on to become one of the most acclaimed South Korean girl groups of all time, with hits including Go Away and I Am The Best. Since 2NE1's disbandment in 2016, Sandara Park has enjoyed tremendous success as a solo artiste, with multiple brand deals and TV appearances to her name.
